Court bars MCSK from collecting ringtone royalties

On December 16 last year, MCSK raided Cellulant offices in Nairobi and confiscated four computers on allegations that it had infringed the copyright of its members.
But Justice Kimaru ordered the society to return the seized computers in their previous working conditions saying they were illegally confiscated.
